What Emerging Markets Are Flying Under the Radar?
Inspiration struck from a Reddit post I revisited after two years, and the responses were genuinely surprising. I’m currently shaping a new venture capital investment thesis, advocating that a portion of the fund—roughly 20%—be allocated to edge-case ideas, with around 15% reserved for nonprofit initiatives.
Today’s landscape makes it challenging to identify truly revolutionary opportunities, yet recent years have highlighted several areas with strong potential. TikTok, sports betting, and electric vehicles (EVs) have stood out as notable trend drivers. Of course, the tech zeitgeist continues to orbit AI/ML, virtual reality, and augmented reality, but I’m curious whether there are other obvious, under-the-radar opportunities that deserve attention.
